Sunnyvale
Sunnyvale is located in the center of
Silicon Valley. That makes for an easy commute. Second most populous
city in Santa Clara County and still adding homes and apartments.
There are 54,308 housing units: 21,042
single-family, 3,919 attached, 25,126 multiples. The 1990 census
reported that 42% of the homes were three-bedroom, 25% two-bedroom and
22% four-bedroom.
There are hundreds of high-tech firms
located in Sunnyvale. Makes for a very nice tax base. The city provides
many services: 17 parks, 68 tennis courts two theater groups, 200-seat
theater, dance company, community center, senior center, baseball and
soccer fields, two golf courses, softball complex bowling alley, lawn
bowling, and more.
All-in-all, Sunnyvale is a pretty good
place to live, and, for the Valley, the homes are reasonably priced.
